“Conspiracy”, a common misnomer for any theory that contradicts dominant narrative, actually means the plotting of a complex, malignant, often criminal scheme; not every theory that contradicts the dominant narrative is a conspiracy by definition.1) That is, unless, the theory implies a conspiracy to cover up, which does happen in media.[citation needed]
The term “conspiracy theory” was coined in the 1960s to discredit alternate theories on the JFK assassination.2) Thus begetting the stigma against alternative theories, which were not stigmatized beforehand.[citation needed]
Terrorist organizations tend to be indirectly or directly funded or facilitated by their enemies for the sake of casus belli. [citation needed]
